About me
Shelby Nicholas is a feature story artist at Skydance Animation. She is currently on Rich Moore’s upcoming animated film. Previously, she worked as a story artist on Wondla the animated series, an unannounced short, and in development at Skydance.
She is legally represented by Christopher Chatham at Manatt.
Outside of work, Shelby is an avid screenwriter. Shelby has placed as a Semifinalist in the CineStory 2024 competition and in the Second Round of the Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Drama Category 2024.
For college, she attended the Brown-RISD Dual Degree Program and earned a BFA in Illustration (RISD) and a BA in Screenwriting (Brown University).
She is passionate about animation and its potential for inspiring empathy.
